The ESL industry is thriving in Brazil, but due to low wages and visa restrictions it isn’t as big as in Asia. Brazil has numerous language schools and even has some chain schools like Cel-Lep, Yazigi, Fisk and Alumini.     Cultura Inglesa has more that fifty schools across Brazil and The British Council also has a presence in the bigger cities. IH (International House) is notably not active in Brazil.
